Who we are
I’m Allison Circuitt, and I’ve dedicated the last 13 years to canine care and training. My educational journey began at Unitec, where I earned my Certificate in Canine Behaviour and Training, followed by an online Diploma. Additionally, I hold a Certificate in Animal Psychology and am Pet First Aid-certified through Pet Tech. I’m currently pursuing a qualification in Behaviorism from the School of Canine Science.
Amidst my academic commitments, our family welcomed a new member last year—a rescue dog named Milo. It has been truly amazing to see his growth especially since he's been a part of our Day Lessons. He's a confident boy that loves to meet other dogs and has exceptionally recall making him a great dog to use for those that come into our care. We also have Torvi, a 5 year old cross breed who lights up our lives and fills our cup as an amazing pet. She does have a sensitive side to her therefore can be unpredictable around other dogs and when out and about. Since living rural, we have seen her relax into this carefree lifestyle where she is living her best life therefore accept that's who she is and manage her quirks accordingly.
I bring an undeniable passion to this field and am excited to extend my services to those eager to enrich their dogs’ lives. More than just a job, I love the opportunity to connect with new people and collaborate closely with dog owners. You can be confident you’re receiving unwavering commitment and comprehensive support.

Our Training Philosophy
Relationship first, always.
Building a bond with your dog/pup is the root of being able to communicate with your dog effectively. If your canine is not willing to work for you then the quality of training will not allow you as owner and dog to reach your full potential and grow together.
We first began our journey using Force Free training methods however found we were restricted to being able to open up a dog's world furthermore without providing the dog with clarity and control. We have since broadened our training skills and reviewed our style by working with balanced trainers who have taught us how to use a slip lead and e collar correctly. After using these balanced tools on my own dogs, I see the benefit of how they are able to build resilience when being interrupted by a tactile cue as well as providing consequences to their behaviour without shutting down.
These tools are only what we use for older dogs that are in need of further clarity when it comes to hyper arousal, confidence/arrogance, or those with a heavy reinforced history of repeating certain behaviours in a confident way.
Our dominant choice is always positive reinforcement first. Helping owners to improve their relationships with their companions by understanding what their roles in society are, using play to motivate their dogs/puppies, putting in boundaries to manage unwanted behaviours, being able to read their body language and building strong foundations with a strategic plan going forward. Tools come later down the track if necessary.

Programs to suit dogs and pups
We understand that life can be crazy at times. Whether you are a couple with a busy work/social life, solo owner who needs a bit of extra guidance or a family with kids running riots and busy with after school activities, we have packages to suit all needs and lifestyles.
We have carefully crafted packages to suit both puppies and dogs with a combination of our Day Lessons, Puppy Training and Coaching sessions.
Our Puppy Day Program can help pups that aren't fully vaccinated yet due to the safety measures we take to ensure there is minimal risk to disease. Here we are able to help hit your pups milestones in a positive way whilst in their socailisation period (before 4 months of age).
Our Day Lesson Package helps take the pressure off owners feeling overwhelmed and struggling to know where to start as the real world can be a place of uncertainty and unpredictability. We help lay your dogs foundations within our Day Lessons based at our rural home then venture out into the real world once your dog is doing well. Owners are coached on training skills and mechanics so their dogs start to see confidence in their owners which enable them to perform the same behaviours they have learnt in Day Lessons.
